Retail Food Licenses and Inspections

Environmental health specialists are responsible for licensing and inspecting all public food facilities such as restaurants, supermarkets, food trucks, caterers, and other retail food operations. Wholesale operators and manufacturers of food are regulated by the State of Colorado. Environmental health specialists also conduct investigations of foodborne illness complaints related to food facilities, sanitation and vector control issues. View the fees associated with inspections.

Submit any complaints through our online portal: My Health Department, by calling 720-887-2220, or by emailing publichealth@broomfield.org.

If you need any applications or materials in a language other than English, please call Public Health and Environment at 720-887-2220, or email publichealth@broomfield.org.
