Search For Your Unclaimed Property
Each year businesses turn over millions of dollars in unclaimed cash, stocks, bonds, securities and insurance proceeds to the State Treasurer’s Office. The money is called “Unclaimed Property,” and it becomes lost through the normal course of business through no fault of the owners. Citizens can call the Treasury’s toll-free hotline at 1-888-925-4127 or search the $750 million database to look for unclaimed money. This is a free service provided to the public by the Treasury.
