PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING THE 2024 WYOMING PERSONAL PROPERTY MANUAL

PP Meeting Memorandum 2023

On Thursday October 19, 2023 the Property Tax Division’s Appraisal Services Group, will conduct a public

meeting to receive input to be considered in the tax year 2024 study of personal property valuation, stated

in the Department Rules and Regulations, Chapter 9, Section 5 (c)(i)(C)(I).

The meeting will be held in Room W53 in the Capitol Extension, 200 W 24th St, Cheyenne, Wyoming from

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This meeting is intended for the Division to receive valuation information regarding oil and gas drilling

rigs; oil and gas field equipment; industrial; agricultural and commercial furniture, fixtures and equipment.

Information collected during this meeting will be evaluated for use in updating our Wyoming Personal

Property Valuation Manual for the tax year 2024.

Any County Assessor, company or other interested party wishing to provide oral comments or written

statements may do so at the meeting. Please reference the 2023 Wyoming Personal Property Manual

available at https://sites.google.com/a/wyo.gov/wyo-prop-div/commercial-industrial/publications-ci. For

those requesting to make a presentation, please contact Jenny Freier at (307) 777-5299 or email at

jennifer.freier@wyo.gov by September 30th, 2023. Please limit your time to comment to 15 minutes or

less. If you are unable to attend, written comments and or supplemental documents may be submitted to the

Appraisal Services Group by October 31st, 2023 for review.
