In Nevada, new
hire information must be reported to the Employment Security
Division of the Department of Employment, Training and
Rehabilitation.
New hire information is used by the Child Support Enforcement
Program
of the Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services and the National Directory of New
Hires to locate parents who are not paying legally required child
support.

Any employer who hires (or rehires
after at least 60 consecutive days of separation from employment)
employees for whom a W-4 Form is required by
the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

themselves from possible fraud, Nevada's New Hire Program uses a
cross match procedure with Unemployment Insurance to detect possible
fraudulent practices. To assist in this cross match we ask that employers
also provide the following optional items:

The method of reporting is at the discretion of the employer; a
specific form is not required.

Employers with employees working in more than one state may report them to the state in which they are working, or the employer may report all employees to one state. Employers who choose to report to one state must notify the Secretary of
